The above picture was taken at the end of October while there was still a lot of leaves around, either in trees or fallen on the ground. In this case, the whole ground was covered with leaves of many colors so I just positioned my camera as parallel as possible to the ground and took a picture with a wide angle lens. While editing the picture, I was actually more intrigued by the patterns and contrasts between the different leaves, than their actual colors. I switched to black and white but I was still not happy with the results. I still wanted to show some form of color so I headed to Color Efex pro and started playing with some of the filters. Then I ended up selecting this "magenta" version of the image and I really liked it. So I kept the color but I can still see well the details and shapes on the different leaves in my opinion.
